South Walsham Broad is in two parts, the outer broad pictured above is available for cruising and mooring by mud weight. The inner broad is private but is open to navigation, mooring is not allowed.
From either the village staithe or the moorings on Fleet Dyke it is just a short walk of a few miles to The Fairhaven Garden Trust. The garden was left in trust by the 2nd Lord Fairhaven in 1973,
and was opened to the public in 1975. The garden is renowned for its fabulous collection of candelabra primulas. It is also well known for magnificent Autumn Colours in late October and early
November. Boat Trips on a Edwardian-style launch 'Primrose' run every day from April to the end of October.
