Brundall

Coldham Hall Inn

Coldham Hall Inn is in a lovely setting on the left bank of the Yare upstream from Yarmouth.  There are excellent moorings here for patrons, but no access to Brundall, which is on the other bank.  It is here that the Yare takes a wide meander around Brundall. The village is set on high ground overlooking the river.

River Yare

Upstream from Coldham Hall on the left bank are a number of attractive wooden boat sheds and chalets dotted amongst the trees.

Brundall

Looking downstream towards Coldham Hall Inn this view has probably remained unchanged for many years. Brundall itself is situated on the opposite side of the Yare

Brundall

The riverside at Brundall mainly consists of chalets and boatyards these provide very little opportunity for hire craft to moor. The village proper is set back beyond the railway on a hill overlooking the river.

Brundall

Brundall's long main street has numerous shops including a supermarket and garage.  There is a small convenience store on the river with limited mooring for people using the shop. Nearby is the Yare public house.
