We are currently organisisng a boating holiday in the Norfolk Broads. I suffer from motion sickness quite badly. Can you give me an idea of how choppy or calm it would be. I have done a canal narrow boat holiday where by i was fine. Thank you.

Breydon Water and the River Bure near Thurne can get quite choppy but it all depends on the prevailing wind at the time! It's not quite as sedate as a narrowboat holiday! |

Hi Pete, Came across your website whilst browsing for info on the Broads as we are coming there in July this year for a week's boating holiday (first time). I'd like to congratulate you on a very well laid out and informative site, I've certainly picked up a lot of tips on moorings etc. I'll be coming back for more info as the months go by. Is it ok to print some of the information off as I'd like to take it with me on my visit. Best regards. Duncan

Hi Peter Thank you for the wonderful informative site. Your pictures brought lots of incredibly sweet memories. I am from Russia, spent some time on the Broads and I think I fall in love with them. My favorite - breakfasts in the mornings, looking at the swans when the sun is smiling at you. Blessings. Irina
