Small observation - Information on Locks Inn Geldeston is incorrect. I visited by car just a few weeks ago. They have a car park big enough for about 10 cars and there is more parking space back down the lane.

Pete's comments   Thanks Steve, I've now updated that page.

Pete's comments   Hi Sue, all boatyards have a handbook that comes with the boat with lot's of info inside. You will also probably be given a copy of Broadcaster which is a free newspaper with maps and a what's on guide. You will also be able to buy additional maps from the boatyard if you want, so don't worry!

Pete. Great site. Found your site about three years ago and booked my first boating holiday. Since then been boating in Scotland (loch Ness) on the canals and even taken a sailing course and sailed of Tenerife and Greece, all down to you, mate. Back this September to the broads, looking forward to it. Keep up the good work. Chris G.

We have booked our very first trip on the broads (and indeed a boat) for August. Our labrador will be coming with us along with 13 year old. We are collecting boat from Stalham. Can anyone tell me of any pubs/cafe's that allow dogs and children (even if outside) - Thanks

Lovely gem of a site, but alas hidden away in the darkness of the internet for no one seems to have commented since the 90's.Until now in July 2011 - And I;ll be using your guides this Friday, as I am off for a boating holiday myself.
